Walking through the woods can be scary, and it’s more relaxing when there’s good light with sun shining through the branches. Still when I took the above image I’d already walked quite a distance and I felt quite on my own. For some reason I felt some unease and didn’t go much further.
The shot below is currently my lock-screen image on my phone. It’s closer to home and it’s quite relaxing for me to see when the phone rings. It was taken this spring with fresh greenery and the wild garlic in bloom. I love the little patch of sunlight on the path and the vivid green leaves from a lime tree on the left.
