Glasgow City Council has supported artists in the creation of murals around the city centre, and today, the works of art adorning Glasgow’s walls are quite outstanding. Last Sunday we followed a tour of murals created by artists, like Smug, Rogue-One, Art Pistol and others. I now have so many questions about how they manage to produce such amazing images in often difficult places, and at the same time coping with Scottish weather.

Absolutely incredible action! A great eye-opener for me as dozens of quad bikes race round the Drumclog track at top speed. Great access for the shoot. Good company, and very helpful and friendly officials at the track.

Dunure Castle – always a favorite. The forecast was great – so five of us headed down the coast to see what sort of sunset developed. Gorgeous night with great light on the castle. We waited for the clouds to turn pink but the sun sank behind cloud.

Just to get started — with an impression of Paisley Abbey. Taken on a Sunday when it wasn’t really open to the public (except for services) but access was granted anyway. We heard the organist warming up and then the tenor turned up in a checked shirt for his practice session.
