Ruins

Prompted by this week’s Monochrome Madness challenge titled ‘Ruins’, I’m posting to fairly recent images. The lead image above is of the famous Dunure Castle once the seat of the Kennedy family who ruled a large part of South-west Scotland.

So here I am, back on-line again after a short illness – also recovered from the Euros!! – and things are about the same as they were before – feels restrictive despite recent changes. And so I’m grateful for Anne Saddler setting the Lens-Artists Challenge this week and her chosen topic, Black & White, is a favourite of mine. A subject I can get my teeth into.

Hi! I’m James Brown……that abbreviates to Jas. B……….and hence morphs to jazziBee.

Based in Ayrshire in south west Scotland, I’ve been into photography on and off for a long time. But now I’m taking it a bit more seriously. So I started this blog to post some of my images – still not really sure how it may end up. I may delve into some other observations on the world around me…. if I do, please indulge me.
