This is the third and final image of those white-barked trees that I came across. All images taken on the same day, in the same place with the same vertical camera movement during the exposure. This image was taken with a shutter speed of 1/5 second.

Trees in the Sun – Barrier
Abstract from Reality
I’m starting here a short series of images all taken on the same day. I came across these trees in the sun. The trees were quite unusual to me in that the bark was silver, almost white, and very smooth.
I took all the images hand-held with a longish shutter speeds (between 1/2sec and 1/8sec) and moved the camera upwards during the exposure. It’s nothing new and not really that clever but I find some interesting effects occur.
