This was the most satisfying image taken on my walk shown in last week’s post.

Living near the edge of town, I can walk into town or walk out to the countryside. In this case, a walk down to the river. These are converted mobile phone shots.
Includes the route down to the river. the river itself, the old bridge collecting branches blown down by the storm, the withered Japanese Knotweed stalks, the lodge at the bridge, and the river beyond. All in these wet winter conditions. It’s easy access to nature – always enjoyed.
That’s a regular walk.
Images belowIt’s Saturday. The country park is busy; I get the last parking space. People are not abroad sunning themselves on beaches, or going en-masse to shopping malls: cinemas and sports clubs are shut. But they can come to the parks and many have done so.
I need space and so walk the quiet peripheral trails, looking for some natural compositions. Walking through the woods, lush green above; moving along the river: torrents from recent rains.
